For over 30 years, Decorative Center Houston has been the leading design resource center for professional designers and architects of residential, contract, commercial, and hospitality design.

Every weekday, an average of 100 professional designers and architects have made the D&D
their “home” away from home; or at least their second workplace.

According to designer Albert Hadley, it is “the center of all our lives.”

Design and Trade Professionals

DCH is a mixed-use building with to-the-trade design showrooms. While designer registration is not required for admission to DCH, it is strongly advised. Each showroom will qualify design professionals and trade buyers when they enter unless they are not already a known customer of the showroom. Please be sure to have photo identification, business card and resale certificates with you when visiting for seamless reception. Admission policies may vary from showroom to showroom, as do sample and quote request requirements.

Not all showrooms will allow visits by unaccompanied clients, so please check with the showroom in advance.

Design Center Visitors

All visitors interested in home furnishings and interior design are welcome and encouraged to visit DCH to browse our showrooms. Our lobby Concierge staff is available to help you find your way and answer any questions you might have. Several showrooms in the courtyard are open to the public along with a few of the showrooms located inside of the building. We encourage visitors to check with the concierge or marketing office should they have any questions at (713) 961-1271 or info@decorativecenter.com. Admission policies may vary from showroom to showroom, as do sample and quote request requirements.

Visitors should understand that they are courtesy guests at DCH and that the showrooms are “to-the-trade” selling wholesale to interior design professionals and qualified buyers who purchase on behalf of their clients. Appropriate business casual attire is required and visitor behavior must be respectful of the professional atmosphere of the building.

Tenants will still be able to access the building with an access card.

The Referral Program is a complimentary service that helps individuals select an interior designer who best suits their taste, project scope and budget. Whether building a new home, planning a renovation or redecorating a single room, Decorative Center Houston will make the designer selection process easier. Our designer represent a broad range of styles and have been recognized an awarded by national trade associations and publications.

Consulting & Buying Services

Decorative Center Services provides a unique insider Consulting & Buying program that provides discriminating consumer who is not presently working with a designer the opportunity to purchase a limited number of items at the to-the-trade only prices plus a modest administrative fee. This service extends a coveted privilege to select from the variety of textiles and furnishings available only at the Decorative Center Houston.
